Vina Lustado is the founder/owner Sol Haus Design, a design firm based in Ojai, California. After a professional degree from USC and more than 20 years in high-end corporate architecture, Vina decided to focus her career on smaller-scale projects that could make a positive difference.
One of the highlights of Vina’s career is an international fellowship in Germany to research ecological and affordable housing. During the time she spent abroad, Vina learned that sustainability must be a mindset that pervades culture and lifestyle.
Staying true to her core values, Vina has completed the design and construction of her moveable tiny home. Equipped with simple luxuries, Vina manifested her dream home in 140 square feet. It reflects her philosophy about simplicity, sustainability, and living within her means.
Vina’s tiny home has been featured in countless media publications and national television. Lustado is also a proud recipient of ‘Global 100 Most Influential Women in the World’ by Filipina Women’s Network.
