This beautiful movable tiny home boasts a whopping 380 sf of living space which makes it nice and roomy for those of you wanting to go small but not too tiny.
One of the aspects we love most about 5th wheel/gooseneck tiny homes is the "bonus" room created over the trailer's towing extension arm; tall ceiling heights and abundant space are the result. These rooms become ideal locations for bedrooms, yoga/craft or living rooms. The choice is yours!
The Desiderata was designed by Heather Markowitz who has been living in hers full time and loving it. This beautiful home offers some wonderful features such as a full sized kitchen, standard appliances in the kitchen and bathroom, pantry, a super comfy bonus room which could act as a second bedroom, a stunning front door, and a bathtub (a rarity in the movable tiny house world). To boot it has two lofts, so you're looking at loads of sleeping space options.
Heather describes her design process for the Desiderata as follows:
"The element that was most important to me when designing my home was spaciousness. I wanted there to be a visceral feeling of space when walking into the home and in every room. I knew that for my home to feel perfect in the long run I would not want to feel like I was in a cramped or tiny space."
I would say that those values shine through pretty stunningly in the Desiderata...great job Heather!
